Global Warming Project

AboutGlobal Warming

Global warming

is the increase in the average measured temperature of the Earth's near-surface air and oceans since the mid-20th century, and its projected continuation.

Greenhouse gases

re gaseous constituents of the atmosphere, both natural and anthropogenic, that absorb and emit radiation at specific wavelengths within the spectrum of thermal infrared radiation emitted by the Earth’s surface, the atmosphere itself, and by clouds. This property causes the greenhouse effect.[1] Greenhouse gases are essential to maintaining the temperature of the Earth; without them the planet would be so cold as to be uninhabitable.[2][3] Natural sources are the Earth's ecosystem, and anthropogenic sources include industrial, transportation, residential, commercial and agricultural processes. [4] Venus, Mars and Titan also have atmospheric gases that cause greenhouse effects.

WORDS FROM DE ARTICLE

The word I choose is sufficient:

Water - essential for life. Some people get too much, some never get enough, for others the total is sufficient but the timing is wrong. And what is sufficient for people in some parts of the world is not enough for others. And what will happen in the future, as a result of global warming? Or because of speculation causing a need for large amounts of water in areas of semi-desert?

Read an article talking about water scarcity and the grades of seriousness which have been established.
